Obviously there’s the Camel trail that goes down to Wadebridge and Padstow, or up to Wenfordbridge. There’s lots of places to stop to eat and drink along the way and at both ends.
There’s Cardinham woods for some adventurous cross country mountain biking where there’s a park and cafe.
Lanhydrock house has a trail centre as well which offer a variety of cross country loops along with some more mellow sections. Plus there’s a pump track and a old school dual slalom style track. Lanhydrock also has a play park and cafe too.
For those who like a bit of touring there’s also a multitude of Sustrans routes nearby going over the stunning Bodmin moor and down towards the Eden project and St Austell.
So as the day’s are getting longer and warmer its about time we shook of those winter blues, got on our bikes and soaked up some vitamin D.
We were recently featured on Discovery Cornwall. Its a wonderfully well put together video highlighting some of the great things that make this county unique.
