5 stars! We went for Breakfast this morning and it was superb. A huge pot of tea for 2 and served with mugs, (not tiny silly cups!) Nice sausages, beans, bacon and eggs and lots of mushrooms! Sourdough toast lovely, overall a cosy tasty breaky!

Just been to Snails pace - was delighted to find such a fab cafe on the Camel trail - had the most delicious food
- the best brownies ever! Such lovely, helpful staff too! Thoroughly recommend it!

Enormous thank you to the cycle hire team. Very helpful and informative.
Our ride was cut short after a smallish crash. On return there was no concern about some damage to their equipment and a first aid kit on hand to clean up my 10 y/olds scrapes and grazes.
Not sure you’d get this from a larger bike hire company. Super impressed. Thank you.

Last weekend a group of us hired bikes from Nick at Snails Pace Bike Hire so we could make a weekend of it and it was such a fabulous weekend. To ensure we didn't have to carry our bags on our backs, Nick set us up with baskets, panniers and equipment to hold our things in place on the back of the bike, this made it much easier to enjoy our ride. It also meant we could carry padlocks so that when we arrived in Padstow we could securely ensure our bikes stayed safe for the night so we could enjoy Padstow and get to our accommodation.
The camel trail is just beautiful, such a contrast from one part of the trail to the other...woodland, rivers, arched canopies of trees to slate quarries, estuary wildlife and views out to sea near Padstow and accross to Rock. Overall such a great weekend trip, would definitely recommend and Nick organised all the bikes and necessary advice and equipment superbly.

We visited the cafe and had a delicious lunch (the watercress soup and roll were amazing). We then went to book a bike for the next day at the bike hire shed behind the cafe. Nick was great and explained about the bikes available, full details of price which included the hire of a helmet and lock and we chatted about the route. We arrived next day to pick up the bike, which was ready for me. It was very comfortable and looked new. The staff at the cafe and bike hire shed were lovely and I would highly recommend both.

Great to have you back open, lovely lattes and flapjack today, see you again soon!

The perfect place for lunch after a long walk up over the Moor between N and S Cornwall. Exceedingly good filled focaccia and the most delicious Frangipan cake ever! Would throughly recommend

A gorgeous salad and a mezze in the sunshine after our bike ride today. Thank you Snails Pace you never disappoint. The sticky ginger cake was delicious too ❤️

Just got home from a lovely visit! We rode some comfy bikes along the Camel trail, admiring the autumnal colours and then had some delicious cake and hot drinks. Snail's Pace is an awesome eco independent cafe located in a beautiful setting

What a find! The BEST cakes, coffee, and vegetarian/ vegan menu. Didn’t think l’d come across such an oasis of deliciousness, after my long peddle from Padstow. Thank you Snail’s Pace team for such a welcoming and filling lunch.

The cycle back was sustained by your creative offerings. (The brownies alone were worth the trip).

Thank you.

Delicious coffee and cake, friendly smiley staff and a great relaxing location. Definitely worth a visit

Another lush visit to Snail's - scrummy Cornish beef burger, followed by tea and delicious cake. All accompanied by lovely conversation and great service. No point letting the rain get in the way of a good time - get down before Sunday when they close for the winter!

Delicious and great choices for vegan/veggie/ allergies whilst remaining eco friendly delicious lunch and cakes had by all- including a much missed good coffee post lockdown

On holiday in Helland and returned again (we were here last year). This time to hire a bike and have lunch after. Very helpful when asking about the hire bikes. Kitted out with a bike and lock, plus puncture kit and pump. We cycled to Wadebridge and back then returned the bike.

We chose a ploughman’s and a Mediterranean Mezze both were delicious and very filling. Lovely bread as well.

Would thoroughly recommend this eco cafe if you are cycling the camel trail near Bodmin.

Best cream tea ever, melted in your mouth! Very friendly staff and great service!
